About Evelyn Rei

Evelyn Rei (Kirsty Anne Symonds) was born in United Kingdom, Surrey on January 4th, 1983 . She studied A/S level Dance and Drama In Devon, United Kingdom.

 

Evelyn's acting career was pursued much later then anticipated due to doing various of other jobs, for example she teached fencing, archery, climbing and archery to youth groups, followed by the Army at Winchester where she received exemplary conduct.  Evelyn went on and joined a theatre company. She stayed with The South Devon Players for several years performing in historic plays such as Robin Hood, Reserectional bob, Squires temptation, Brixhams Castle (Directed By John Fabian), The Court Of King Arther and Helen Of Troy. Evelyn has grown respect for her diverse acting and never playing similar roles, from queens, to fairys, to comedys and is extreamly good at changing her voice to suit the character e.g She played a robort- Slave of the ring in Alanddin  where audience member thought she was miked with a electronic sound device.

 

Evelyn has been in several films: Alice And Wonderland, About Time, WWZ, Pride, 24 and many independant films such as Dark Tale, The Runner and Meet Again. To help her film acting she completed some workshops with RADA and completed The actors Studio Course.

 

She completed a  BA 's film making Degree in September 2012, where she attended Plymouth Univesity. Projects that she produced include Deadmoor and 'Old media Meets New Media. She won a bronze award for her short House Of Gran in the USA fify Film Festival. Her current Film which she's produced is Meet Again which plays Lily.
